| Background: | Ballistik Recordings has one aim in sight – to tear up dance floor’s worldwide
Whatever clever promotional banter we come up with to launch this label, ultimately one thing alone is important and that’s the fact that we love hard euphoric music. We have our own vision of what that sounds like and so do a lot of the amazing new producers that New Zealand is bursting with, and we are literally gagging to get this music out there to the wider hard dance world.
Born in Auckland, and run by three of the Nation’s finest, Ballistik’s focus is on the tougher end of uplifting hard trance and hard house. Behind this new imprint is the ever unique Daniel Ro (previously of Peroxide Records fame), future hero David Ding (who has made an impact with some huge releases on Electrik Shandy, Impact, Fevah and Stereodays) and legendary local DJ RP who needs no introduction on the Auckland circuit.
We will be showcasing slamming new tracks from the best of NZ, but also Australia, Europe, South America and of course the UK, so expect to see us developing new talent alongside established names and the in house producers. The Ballistik Radio Show on UPFM has been pumping the NZ airways for years, future events and tours are already getting planned and we have a truck load of new material ready to smash it.
