PROFILE
Dean Weston’s love of hard dance music started from a very early age. From his home town Tamworth, his musical journey commenced after first being introduced to a pair of turntables whilst still at college in 1996. It was at this moment Dean knew he wanted to be a part of ‘the scene’ and has been heavily involved in the clubbing scene ever since.
After purchasing his first pair of decks and after many hours of turning the tables in his bedroom he entered a DJ competition in his home town where he won second place giving him the confidence to pursue the mainline circuit with his pumping house dance style.
Self promoted, it wasn’t long until Dean was already being touted as a main player in Birmingham and Leicester’s Hard House scene. He did various warm up sets in clubs such as Sundissential & Forbidden who hosted major names such as Andy Farley, Ian M, Rob Tissera, Sarah G an many more!
This is where he gained his reputation due to his determination to deliver his developed unique sound of dirty basslines, uplifting vocals and eye watering peaks which made the venues rock to perfection. Coupled with Dean’s mixing and technical abilities, he matured into a recipe for success allowing him to be picked to headline various launch parties and major events across the city.
Over the past few years Dean has been promoting and DJing at his own nights whilst also concentrating on producing tracks in his purpose built studio. He is a multi-talented and diverse individual, who not only offers a superb DJ set, but will charm and entertain the most diverse of crowds.
Suffice to say, the Hard House scene should be expecting big things from Dean Weston in 2012.
