On Friday June 22nd, they take over Egg in Kings’ Cross where they will play all night long in room one. In the second room, they’ve invited Audiofly over from Barcelona, Russ Yallop and their London friends from Leading Astray, Elek-Fun B2B L-Tete. The party will get going at 10pm and run through to 8am. Phew!
LAYO & BUSHWACKA!
Layo & Bushwacka! are one of electronic music's most esteemed duos. Comprising of Matthew ‘Bushwacka' B and Layo Paskin, it was via their mutual friend Mr C that Layo & Bushwacka! first met whilst Matthew was working at Mr C's studio and by the mid 90s the two had started writing music together.
Layo & Bushwacka!'s reputation as two of the world's foremost DJ duos is rock solid. Their trio of mix albums and international club residencies have shown they are masters of the turntables; sonic connoisseurs who can guide a dancefloor on an epic journey through the many facets of their sound. Their label Olmeto has become a bastion for quality, a label that, much like its figureheads, has become a stamped seal of class.
AUDYOFLY
After almost a decade together, Audiofly have become one of the leading musical partnerships of the electronic music movement. Anthony Middleton and Luca Saporito have spent the past eight years fine-tuning their individual skills, exchanging ideas and combining their enthusiasm, resulting in an unstoppable DJ and production duo. Their debut album ‘Follow My Liebe' is slated for release in early 2011 on Get Physical, sure to further propel them further to the top of the dance music tree.
The past three years have seen Audiofly rise above the underground and embrace global recognition. Their tireless dedication to exploring the boundaries of contemporary dancefloor music has left a mark in the consciousness of the house and techno world. Their Supernature label was launched two years ago and has acted as a launch pad for artists such as Alex Niggemann Ali Nasser, Amelie and Boris Horel.
