Kohl's origins lie in the London industrial scene, where he got his first delicious taste of dark and underground dance music spending his time transfixed by the twisted mechanical sounds. From here he branched into the hard dance scene and that's when he first started DJing.
In 2008, the twisted, energetic and alternative sounds he heard influenced him to try his hand on the decks and from there has already added a number of high profile events to his name in both the industrial scene and hard dance scene, including Resistanz Industrial Festival, Infest Festival, Slimelight, Club Antichrist, Boudoir Bizarre (NL), KOMA Festival (Norway), Cyberdog and Frantic (UK), Force (Finland), Club Ruoska (Finland), Bionic and a packed 1,200+ capacity tent at the Bulldog Bash (one of Europe's largest biker festivals).
Kohl is also a resident and co promoter for the London event 'Sinistry'. Alongside hard dance DJ Jester, Kohl brings together the harder and darker side of dance music to London. Since the summer of 2008, Sinistry has showcased a variety of international DJs and now runs their events in the same venue as Slimelight, offering everything from Industrial, EBM, Goth to dark hard trance, hard dance, hardstyle and dark hardcore. He is also working on an EP to release to the industrial scene in early 2014. So watch this space.
He can easily adapt to any dance floor from Industrial, EBM, Aggrotech, Noize to harder or more euphoric sounds. Kohl puts as much energy into his sets as anyone on the dance floor and bring all his skills as a regular club DJ to the decks to create unique and memorable performances.
You will not be disappointed by his heart pounding, soul destroying, body moving take on the industrial scene.
