Alumni vs BTU... What does that even mean?
Well to be honest we have no idea. We had a few Trance DJs we wanted to book so it seemed like a good idea.
Musically it will be classic orientated, there will still be a mix of styles... The Trance DJs might get a little more leeway on the 2004 tune limit policy.
So guest wise we have the following assortment of reprobates...
First up are residents B.S.E b2b Latex Zebra for a 3 hour extended warm up.
These guys have been friends (honest) forever and know each other inside out as DJs. Expect a journey (ughh) through House, Breaks, Techno and Trance.
This is a set that will be worth arriving early for (Yeah they always say that).
Next up is Mr Will Renville. Will has been bothering more and more line ups over recent months... He either has a great agent or super skills.... We've just found out he doesn't have an agent.
Will will be delivering a set of Trance classics from the last 17 years... Expect some serious music policy rule breaking for this set.
Another special guest is Mr Miles Gorfy. A DJ known for his pounding Hard House sets, and he's played a few for Zoology. This time he is under strict instructions to leave the Hard stuff to someone else and deliver a set of Trance classics.. .Miles is more likely to stick to the rules than Will so this will be a proper trip down memory lane.
Alumni debutant Kr00t0n aka Gareth Willemburg has played for our sister party BTU on several occasions and has provided some outstandin warm up sets. He's been desperate to take it up a notch so another Trance classics set is on the cards. This one will have plenty of energy.
Our final guest is celebrating her year anniversary at playing Alumni... By playing at Alumni.
Jaqstar, once resident at Paradoxx and occasional guest at other great parties is known for her full on Hard Dance sets... Jaqstar will close the party with a bang... Can't wait.
Finally is resident Matt Church who at first couldn't make it and now can. Kev Walsh has had to pull out do to work commitments (we'll get him another time) and Matt's diary suddenly cleared. Rather fortuitous. Matt will play Trance... Of some description.
So, don't sulk because you're not a Lumi! Come and party with us at the 414.
