More: ***** FREE PARTY *****

First of all, here at Magnetix HQ we would like to thank everyone who came to our last event and Magnetix’s 6th Birthday @ Bar 414, last month! It was very pleasing to see many familiar faces and see everyone having a great time! We had a lot of great comments on how great the party was, including the atmosphere, so we very much appreciated everyone’s comment!

For this party we welcome three new DJ’s who shall be making their Magnetix debut’s! We are very pleased and looking forward to having our headliner Lewis Duggleby, George Ford and Nitromind down to play for us and for the first time! We also welcome back Akanski and Danny Covington, who made their first appearances at Magnetix during last year!

Lewis Duggleby

Lewis Duggleby has been producing EDM (Electronic Dance Music) since 2005. He has a number of his own tracks, re-mixes and mash-ups. In 2008, He started Djing, mainly in different styles of his favorite music genre, trance then adding texture to his range by playing different styles of commercial and non-commercial house.

Lewis started his career off in Student Unions back in 2009, rarely able to play what he really wanted to which was Trance. Back in April 2010, he went on a DJ academy master course and they spotted his talent for selecting and mixing different styles of Trance. This ended up in him playing the odd gig there every 2-3 months under other brands from September 2010.

From there, he joined up with a friend who ran a brand called CTRL and he started putting on his own events in Bournemouth, as well as himself continuing the gigs at Ministry of Sound. He did a huge event in July 2011 where Matt Zo headlined.

From June 2012, he started running his own events at Ministry of Sound, appearing on the same line up such as DJ's Marco V, Lisa Lashes and Gareth Emery.

He decided to split from CTRL at the end of 2012 to concentrate on bigger things so he started up his own record label from the beginning of 2013 called Elevation Audio with a friend, Matt Driver who he knew was knowledgable and passionate about the scene.

Since then he has hosted a number of nights at Ministry of Sound, under the Elevation Audio brand alongside names such as Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz and the most recent and up to date Elevation Audio event vs Subculture, which had the likes of John O Callaghan, Giuseppe Ottaviani (Live), Jorn Van Deynhoven and Agnelli and Nelson, and has also been putting on exclusive pre parties to give other DJ's the opportunities to be a part of what we love.

Production wise he will be releasing many of his own tracks over the course of the next couple of years, both on his own label and other labels worldwide!
For this set of his you can expect to hear a host of Elevation Audio releases from older, to present and forthcoming, along with some Uplifting Trance tracks from various producers!

Vic Light

Vic Light, otherwise known as V-i-C, is an up and coming Trance DJ based in Bournemouth in the United Kingdom.

He is best known for his Chunky Progressive and Epic Trance DJ’ing style, with the technical ability to smoothly change the flow of a set in any direction he pleases.

He first started DJ’ing in 2000 using a pair of Citronic Belt Drive turntables and in 2002 he played his first gig alongside legendary London Techno DJ, James ‘Sterling’ Moss. Since then he has gone on to play with some of the world’s biggest Trance and Hard House DJ’s such as Matt Hardwick, Judge Jules, Brian Kearney, Mat Zo, Lee Haslam, Jordan Suckley, Ben Gold, Sander van Doorn, Mike Foyle, Genix, JP & Jukesy, Andy Farley, Alex Kidd, The Organ Donors and many more.

After taking a 4 year break from DJ’ing, Vic has returned to the decks bigger and better than ever. In 2008 he started playing regularly for Trance and Hard House night Xstatic Vs. Deprivation in Birmingham, even going as far as gracing the main stage. In 2009, a 1 week holiday turned into 3 months in the clubbing paradise of Ibiza. Not only did he play all over the island, but also became a resident DJ for Trance and Hard House night Atomik, at the Boho Nightclub in San Antonio, regularly playing to crowds in the hundreds.

He has also teamed up with Gab and Enzo Calipa, otherwise known as Freedom Infinite to create the production collective known as Infinite Light. With their first productions soon to be complete, Vic Light is an up and coming DJ to watch very carefully.

George Ford

George is known for his ear catching Psy Trance and Tech Trance sets, which always have the crowd up for it and dancing up until the end of his sets! Past sets have seen him play at Ministry of Sound, Grind in Clapham and at Lifeline @ The Brunel Rooms in Swindon, where he featured at all those events for Elevation Audio. He has featured on line ups along with Indecent Noise, John Askew, Angry Man and Neptune Project to name a few. His next forthcoming set shall see him play at Trancecoda in Birmingham, where you will be able to catch him playing in the Future Trancecoda room, with John Askew, Indecent Noise and Angry Man headlining the main room on Saturday 7th December

Danny Covington

Danny is known for his energetic Uplifting Trance and Tech Trance sets. Some recent sets have seen him play in Brighton and Bournemouth and at events such as Intensity, Invasion of Trance, CTRL @ Ministry of Sound, Contakt and Transfixion in Maidenhead, where he played a B2B set with Lorenzo Barrero. On NYD 2014 he shall be playing for The Energy Box @ Hidden, alongside the likes of Indecent Noise, James Dymond, Jase Thirlwall and Robbie Van Doe!

Nitromind

NitroMind (Peter Litka) was born in 1987 in Poznan, Poland. He moved from his native country to the capital of clubbing - London. He has been a fan of club music since the age of 15. The first tunes and club sets which he heard made him love them and stayed in his head, so he decided to do something about it and moved forward. He started out from mixing different music, which was done by computer programs to air his knowledge on the radio.

He has mixed genres of music in clubs from Hard Dance - Hardcore - Electro House and through to Progressive Trance, which has shown his versatility of playing different genres of music, of what he is required to play. He has big respect for X-Ray for all the precious advice and experience that he has gained from him, also by introducing him into the English club scene, where he is still supported by him.

Today he's one of the youngest residents at THE POISON, based in London. This is beginning to add a big element of strength to London clubs.

Joining them shall be Magnetix Residents Lorenzo Barrero and Dean Zone
