Far Too Loud

» All Is Machine

Reviewed by voodoobass / Submitted 19-01-09 00:04

Label: Funkatech
Format: 12" Vinyl
Genre: Tech-Funk/Breakbeat

Tasty little 4x4 tech-funk stomper here from the genre-straddling Far Too Loud, one of the last year's biggest and busiest acts - ubiquitous at all of the best festivals in 2008. 'All Is Machine' is a high-octane burner that builds and progresses nicely throughout, wearing its psy and electro influences with pride. Never leaning too far in any one direction, there's never a dull moment throughout the whole 6 minutes 45. This track should find a place in many DJ's repertoires, and for those that prefer their beats broken, Specimen A turn in a glitched up, energetic version with extra big synth riffs and attitude ideal for ripping up a peaktime breaks set. Both mixes are quality, but the original floats my boat the furthest.
