Cosmic Gate & Arnej » Trifecta Reviewed by Pete M / Submitted 14-08-24 17:23 Label: Wake Your Mind Records Format: Digital Genre: Progressive Cosmic Gate return on Wake Your Mind after hooking up with Christian Burns on Brave. Now, Arnej joins up with Nic and Bossi for Trifecta, a sequel, of sorts, to Sometimes They Come Back For More on Black Hole a few years back. Moving in a proggy direction, Trifecta is somewhat deeper than their usual fare. They've moved away from the dirty tech-trance sound and adopted a softer, more benign, posture. It carries on the pose left by Brave but with added Arnej goodness thrown in. Is it better than Brave? For me, its a tough question because both tracks have their merits. But on the surface, this one is deeper and more progressive in tone and direction. I like it. Its cool.
