He may have just being paying his respects but saying 'time of his life' is an odd phrase in such a situation.

Interesting. Scratches Chin So once someone who's been knighted dies then technically they shouldn't subsequently be referred to as Sir given that, to quote the article, "It's a living order and then you cease to be a member when you die". I never knew that.
