Dawson clearly got a touch on the ball as he touched beckford. I'm going to be a realist on this and think he will go on a bosman in the summer. But he is flawed and misses loads. At a premier league club (no offence Aaron) he'll only get better. He's a good player, don't get me wrong, but I could only see him playing for a lower scale prem club, wolves, west ham, etc. Being 26 he probably won't get much better, if at all. If he was 19 or 20 I could see him getting snapped up by a big club. Tell you one thing though, he's doing a good job for you guys this season. IMHO, I think it was a pen, he was round Dawson and was going to square it. I dont know how to call the the return leg, it has shaped up to be quite a game.
